What does it mean if a guy talks badly about his ex?

The guy I like sometimes tells me how his ex girlfriend "stalks him" and won't stop bothering him. He says she's crazy. Is this a good thing or a bad thing for me? Why is he telling me this?

He is still not over and still hurt from her. I wouldn't date a guy who is still bitter about his ex because I don't want him to compare our relationship with his previous relationship. He is not fully over and he needs to take a break because if he don't , you're going to find yourself in a rebound relationship. If a guy moves on he wouldn't talk about his past relationship in a bad way. He will forget the bad part and remember only the good times that he has with her. He needs to be alone and time to think.
