My ex has been a really big jerk to me lately and just an overall d*** to everyone, do you believe that karma always come back to bite you in the ass?

Without a doubt - for every crime there is potentially a punishment, or at least a massive amount of stress and anxiety associated with it, and frankly, the people I know who are nasty and repugnant never get any help because they get pushed away.

Your ex may not get all the karma he deserves, but you only get out of the world what you put into it. People who are repellent and negative cannot keep friends and see the world as a horrible, unpleasant place - which is what it will turn out to be.

You make your own karma - the Universe has enough to deal with.
