It's hard but so is real life dating i'm sure. I met my incredibly emotionally abusive ex in real life, at high school, so for me real life is no better and he doesn't even use dating apps so. Two of my guy friends I met while scrolling dating apps and sure I wasn't attracted to them but they're amazing, sweet guys and i'm actually starting to date one of them now. Attraction can grow when you realize how great someone is sometimes... I also met my ex online dating. He had some issues but it was overall a good relationship which has left me with many amazing memories.

Online dating is nice bc it's easier. BUT a lot of the time it's a long distance relationship and it will get rough. If you're willing to fight for a tough relationship but the relationship at the end is really strong if you can fight for it
