Why would an ex delete your message on Telegram, so you can also see it has been deleted?

When an ex deletes your telegram message in a way that you can also see he has deleted it, what does it mean? Why would he not just ignore it, but also delete it? Like it was just a message with an apology and telling him I wouldn't contact him ever again.

move on , he is your ex , he is probably movin on and maybe a clear history may works for him better. you shouldn't care and don't check what he is doing , ignore him or block him so he gets out of your mind
