Why does he hate me when he broke up with me?

My ex is acting crazy. He (38) dumped me (29) over a week ago. Since then I haven’t begged or pleaded. I stopped doing things for him. We unfortunately still live together. He has been getting me coffee every morning and this morning I went to get coffee. I did not get him one. He became very angry. I very calmly explained I was hurting due to the breakup and behaviors such as bringing him coffee made me feel like I was still trying to be his girlfriend and it was too painful to engage with him doing little favors. I told him he did not have to get me coffee anymore. This for some reason sent him to a rage. On top of that I went one night when I was feeling really sad, and come home very late (4am) after hanging out at a female neighbors house and jamming on guitars with her friends and boyfriend. I am just trying to distract myself. I’m sad. I didn’t want the breakup. When I came home at 4am he accused me of sleeping with someone. He went as far to say he did still love me but now is disgusted by me and no longer has an ounce of love for me because of not getting him coffee and the night out. I ended up showing him all my conversations and screenshots etc. for proof of my story that I didn’t sleep with anyone and he called me a liar even after that…. Even though I have never lied to him once he doesn’t believe me. I don’t even like casual sex and he knows that!!!
Why is my ex flying into a rage over these things? Why is accusing me of sleeping around? Why is he suddenly calling me a liar even though I have never lied to him. He broke up with me. He broke my heart, I thought he was going to be the father of my children. Yet he is treating me like I’m a terrible person? I tried to calm during his anger him by telling him the truth - I loved him very much and I was sorry he felt things didn’t work out, his response was to scream at the top of his lungs “I don’t care about you!”.
