You ever feel like you are missing out on something?

The older I get the more I realize I just want to be in a happy content relationship but it seems so hard to find these days , part of me doesn’t think it exists , someone that wants me like I want them , Someone that can remove selfishness for me like I do for them , The funny thing is everyone pretty much says they want all these things in a relationship , but when they finally get it, they become bored and feel like they are missing out on something, they start betraying their loving partner , flirting with the opposite sex , demanding space , Prioritizing friends over their partner and start telling their partner that they have insecurities , when really it comes down to , you don’t have respect for your partner , nothing to do with insecurities , then these people wonder why they got cheated on or divorced. And then start the whole process over with someone new thinking this person is going to be better than my ex , the only way a new partner will be better than your ex, is if your ex was the one that walked away from you, not the other way around. Unless you were being beaten, then that’s a different story , No relationship is perfect , if you are arguing with your partner that is actually a good sign, that there is still love in the air , when things get silent and your partner doesn’t waste their energy arguing with you , you are best just to walk away cuz they pretty much already gave up on you and hooked themselves onto someone else or they just want to live their selfish life , My thing is if I can cheat on my girlfriend or spouse that tells me I don’t love her or value her , so I would not waste her time anymore and I would move on , people that can cheat and go back to their partner are the biggest pieces of shit on this planet , they will never experience true love , if you can’t fight your own insecurities in yourself how can expect someone else to do the same for you? We can fight for someone to love and value us but we can’t force them
