What does it mean you are missing out big time?

I have meet a man on a dating website...

Things went cool for a little while when we where to meet in reality..

He told me he didn't like my attitude on the phone I am a "socially negative person" ( which I doubting) and said to me "I am missing out on big time"? I kind of backed out from meeting with me... so I can only assume...

What does that mean in the male mind?

It sounds like he's a manipulator. By telling you all these negative things and saying that you're missing out, he's making an attempt to draw your interest, and a lake attempt at that. Perhaps he has the wrong idea on how to create attraction so he's putting you down and hyping himself up so he appears like the "unrestrainable bad boy". But like I said, he's seriously an idiot for trying to pull something like this. Just don't talk to him anymore, not worth the time. Go and tell him that if a random stranger can see through his charades, he really needs to become more knowledgeable if he wants to have any success.

Thank you Brando I really do appreciate your thoughts on this.. That is what I was thinking along the line try to be a macho man, maybe underneath he is a little insecure.. who knows.. I did let it go but did bother me as I never had such comment before..about myself.

Well, you said that he thought you were a "negative person," in his words. I think he wishes that , in his mind you were not like that, because you are missing out big time IF he saw you in a different light.

Oh, well, then I'd say this: Sounds like he's trying to pressure you into meeting him and now he's pouting about it like a 5 year old girl. If he doesn't understand the dangers women face when dating strangers they've met online, then he's not worth your time.

Be patient and it'll pay off.
