My father died a few years ago. I still think about him and every day I always talk about some arcane thing he used to do. I know I cannot talk to him but on a nice fall day when the leaves are starting to change colors I always think about how he would like that.
You should try to think of some good things you used to do with him. It might be sad but it will make you feel closer to him.
