My half-sister's grandfather has just died, he was a man that I appreciate very much, how can I console her?

Julie4, there is no magic wand you can wave that makes it better. Those standard expressions help because all you can offer is your sympathy and acknowledgement of her loss.
I would encourage her, and yourself, to not so much mourn him but to celebrate his life and what he was to her and yourself. It is right that it hurts losing some one and to feel the lose - if you didn't feel that than they would not have been anything to you.
My sympathies.
I’m not great with that sort of thing myself but I would say talk to her about him and try to comfort her.
Maybe spend time doing something she enjoys after a little while.
It helps to know when we die our spirit our intellect travels to heaven to live there.
Its okay to miss your grandpa cause you loved him. Talk about him and remember him and honoring him with your heart. That's the stuff we can do it's not easy. I'm grieving for a friend this past week. I pray asking God to look over him then thank him for that. 😔

Be there for her. Keep her busy, the less time she has to think about it, the faster she'll heal from it
Be present with her as much as you can and listen to her. That is all you can do and it is actually quite a lot.
