How would you guys do to comfort the person you like if his/her father passed away unexpectedly?

you don't. this is horrible and it will suck massively for the next weeks or months. the best thing you can do is to give them compassion. there's nothing you could possibly do that makes your own freaking father passing "comfortable". what you can do is show them the perspective of what their passed father would have wanted for them. that could help them find some direction and some positivity in that suffering.

Just be there hug them and let them be how ever. They are which is normally angry sad and miserable
