My ex and I have been broken up for almost 2 months. We made a mistake and became friends right off the bat. I started to feel like it was harder to move on because they was always there and they was constantly making me feel bad. So I decided to tell him I needed a break and whenever I’m ready for friendship I’ll let him know. He agreed and I started no contact. But ever other week he’d still hit me up asking for money because he’s not financially stable. He’ll be nice, I don’t give it to him. In our relationship I’d always help him Financially but now as exes I don’t and it’s getting annoying me. Is he using me? What should I do?

He is an adult and he should be responsible when it comes to money.

Does he have a job? If he does even seem to be trying to get a job, and living off of you, I’m sorry to say, but he’s an aimless slacker who’s just using you for your money.
