Why is my boyfriend ready to dump me for doing something he did to me?

My boyfriend used to ignore me for days and weeks. I did it back to him and now he wants to break up for good. He says he is over the relationship. Although he ignored me for so long I stayed available and didn't do it back. I do it back to him this one time and he has just been a jerk. He can't get over it. He wants to break up with me and says he's going to be/find with someone else, it won't be hard he says. I thought he was joking but he is so serious.

The best bit of advice I will give you is if someone you're in a relationship with no longer wants to be with you? Then to hell with them. Don't just let them go, openly encourage it. Open the door for them and tell them to close it behind them on their way out.
It's the best way to deal with it because after the initial pain is gone you'll think DAMN, I'm over it such a lot quicker than I would of been had I tried everything to get them to stay!

This guy needs losing, so lose him! He obviously doesn't care a whit about you. It's all about him. What do you need this for? This behavior is abusive on his part. You don't have to put up with it.
