We both didn't know weather to break up or not as we both replied “i dont know”.

i took that as a yes and so packed all his stuff and put it by the stairs at his place..

he texted saying it was unnecessary.

next day i posted a picture of my hand in a bandage and saying that i got hurt. he saw it and called and asked me what happened and he just said he was working… convo was short.. about a min long and that was that…

dunno if he's gonna contact me again but he told me he would rather stay friends given that he's scared he's gonna lose me since he's a very toxic person. he said im important to him and he cares about me…

Honestly I’m not too fond of staying friends with exes. Staying friends with your ex is a great way to hold you back from opportunities. If he’s a toxic partner, he will most likely be a toxic friend as well. If he’s admitting to being a toxic person and has no intentions on trying to change his ways, it’s best for you to let go

he says he’s toxic because he has anger issues and even said he want space from me bc he’s scared he will yell at me and hurt me.

he just said he wants ro stay friends because it’s perhaps the only way he won't lose me as i am important to him dunno if that makes any sense. sure enough he called me today because he saw i had a small injury and checked up on me…

he’s depressed and just a lot going on apparently

@mispix22 stay away from him. You are going to be in an abusive situation before you know it if you don’t cut contact. I see way too many red flags. He using “depression” as an excuse to guilt you into staying around

why does he want me to stay around? and he's kinda gone crazy as in he works 9-5 commutes 1 hour and back and then works on client projects at night so thats all he does and just felt neglected…
i dont reach out to him he reached out to me after 2 days after breaking up

@mispix22 it’s a form of control. He doesn’t want to be with you but he doesn’t want to see you with another man.

Just try to cut contact eventually, even if he reaches out. I’m telling you, you are only holding yourself back from recovering fully the more you stay in contact with him. You aren’t responsible for his depression or his toxic behaviors
