My ex is using my card for Lyft.. had to cancel all my cards.. why the hell is he stealing from me I’ve been no contact for 30 days?

Background: I had forgotten that I left my cards on his account. I got a 25$ charge on one account luckily my transactions were off. Then he hit my other account unfortunately transfers were on. I then receive a phone call from him (since iPhones block feature notifies you when someone calls). It pisses me off because there’s no way you accidentally pick my cards that don’t belong to you. Why won’t he just leave me alone!

It looks as he just wants to annoy you by stealing from you.

You on the other hand, instead of having your own account, play his game by putting your cards on his account. This is one of the first thing you learn when going into a relation and that is to separate your accounts from the one of your boyfriend/SO/partner. It never ends up well to share accounts.

You could press charges against him for theft but you will not do it and he knows it. You don't want to go through the hassle of all the paperwork just for $25.

Be wise and in your next relation, segregate the accounts and never put your cards on his account or allow him to have his on yours.

If he stole them you need to file a police report he is not entitled to your cards or your property if you aren't married. Now with that being said if you left them on his account there might not be much you can do criminally or civically but see what you can do with the police and see if you can consult with a lawyer

Why? Because he knows you won't report him to the police and have him arrested on fraud charges.. If you DID report him? He wouldn't have a leg to stand on and could go away for years rather than months..

Fraud is considered in legal terms to be very serious!

Notify your bank, of the theft, report it to the police, and say you want to raise the charges in small clams court as well.
