Heart break can be crazy at times , share some experience on your last heartbreak?

I was in love with a girl. We had gone out for 5 or 6 months and she had some kind of spell on me. I used to count the hours until I saw her again. We saw each other every weekend. The weekend after Thanksgiving she tells me that she was really busy with schoolwork and could not spend any time with me. I was sad but I understood. I told her I was going to a bar with a friend that lived in the same town a she did and watch the hockey game on TV.
I went to the bar and ordered a beer. I looked around the room and I saw my girlfriend sitting in a booth with her old boyfriend from high school. It was obvious what was going on. I was blindsided by this and completely devastated. I was going through a really bad time in my life and having her for a girlfriend was really the only good thing that I had. And now it was gone. I got up and walked out. She saw me an I expected she would follow me outside to explain or apologize but she did not. In the weeks to follow she never tried to get in touch with me. It was really tough.

Remember in high school, was the night before my last math exam. Was bad times, but time heals all things
