I told husband that he's dead to me... but he's not reaching out to his daughter?

We both are now separated. We have a one year old daughter and one on the way ( I'm 6 months). He did me wrong and I told him he was dead to me. Now it's been two weeks and he have not talk to his daughter or spend time with her. Why is he taking it out on her?
