We’ve been together for almost 9 years and married for 4 years. Husband wants a divorce because he’s unhappy and said he’s wanted a divorce for a few years but everytime he tried I always accused him of cheating so he was guilted into staying. I don’t believe that but anyways.
We have a 1 year old beautiful baby. One minute he says divorce and the next he says he wants me to go part time and wants to work out marriage out and get more family time. Yesteday after he said he wanted a divorce and the said he wanted to work things out I mentioned FINALLY changing my last name because I have been lazy to do it and lost my license anyway.
He flipped out and told me not to change it and that I’m starting to get clingy only because he said he wanted a divorce. I then said “ I thought you just told me at dinner that you wanted to work it out” and he said yeah you heard that part but I also said I wanted a divorce 10009 times before that. I’m torn apart because I love him and wanted a long future. Heartbroken because I feel so unworthy. I feel like if the door for an uncomplicated easy divorce was options then he would take it and run. I want to save our marriage.
I need advice because all I do is cry all day and feel unworthy. I sound like a desperate idiot. I know. But it’s genuinely all I want.
