You have mentioned quite a few times that you nag and accuse him often. What did you accuse him of? Cheating? Nobody wants to be falsely accused of something, especially if it is something that could jeopardize their life. Unless you have indisputable evidence, it is an utter waste of time and may put your relationship at risk over something that may not have happened.
If your husband wants a divorce, it has gone too far. However, you could still try marriage counselling if your husband is okay with it. If I were you, I would have accepted his decision and asked him to go further with it.
