Why is my ex calling me at night?

My ex and I broke up a month ago because he cheated but still stayed in contact for like a week. We haven’t spoken in weeks and he hasn’t called me. He works night shift. Last night I was woken by my phone ringing around 12pm and a what’s up text. We work the same job and I looked at the schedule for today and saw he worked last night which means he called me while he was at work. I can’t call him back or text because there’s something up with his phone that won’t let me call or text him but he’s able to text and call me.

Are you sure he hasn't blocked you and that's why you can't call or text him? Best thing to do is the first chance you have, ask him why he was calling you. At the end of the day, only he knows why he was trying to call you.

Well the two weeks after the break up, he text my phone as if I could respond. He text me things like wyd? And how’s your day? And when I reply it never goes through

I remember one time my ex messaged me and he also tried to call me! I tried to call him back but I couldn't get through. Turned out, he still had me blocked from when we had a massive falling out.

Try calling him on a private number and see if your calls goes through

I think you need to block him on your phone. Take away his ability to text or call you. Because the guy screwed around on you and is more then likely trying to worm his way back in.
