Break up early or later?

Id rather break up later when he leaves this country than early, he said he wants to break up early because it would be difficult and he doesn't want to do LDR but if I went to his country he wants to be with me but he promised me he won't date anyone until I get there.
This doesn't make sense for me, I dont understand and I really dont want to break it off.
How can I convince him? I already told him I want more time with him and make more memories before he goes. He still making his decision.

I love this man, I dont want anyone else. The love he gave me is different from the other I felt before.

Some guys.. just have a really hard time with the ldr thing. He's scared of missing you so he'd rather not miss you at all. He wants to spare himself the pain of not having you there with him. Try to understand his point of view above anything else. It's as tough for him as it is for you, so it'd be best to break it off early

I understand him, it's better to get it over with, when I miss someone its the worse feeling,. Especially when he loves you, he can't do the distance
