My sister still follows her on social media and recently told me that my ex is gay now. she's dating a girl, cut her hair short, rainbows all over her pages etc.

I can't help but feel even more used now then before and it's troubling me. Why would she keep our relationship so long? Good for her for coming out, but I didn't gain anything from our relationship and feel like I missed out on 4 years of my life

Her sexuality has nothing to do with you - plus, she's likely bisexual or maybe just had time to realize she's not actually into men.

If her parents refused you on race, she probably felt too afraid they'd reject her for being gay to be open.

Plus, sexuality is fluid and can change over a person's lifetime. Even if she's lesbian now, she may have had a period of time where she was attracted to you genuinely.

It sounds like it's been a while, but you still are obsessed with her. Get some therapy, it isn't normal to be so obsessed so late after you dated someone. It's not healthy.
