I'm in love with a guy friend. I thought he felt the same way , but he doesn't. Since telling him how I feel, he's distanced himself. I miss his friendship so much. How can I unlove him?😧🙁

I try not to think about him, it I don't know how to stop.

There is a saying: You don't fight the devil but instead turn toward god.
What that means is, you don't have to stop thinking about him, you just have to think about something else. That is the trick. Thinking about something else is how you stop.
For most people their environment or what they see tends to create a corresponding image in the mind.
When I was love-sick their was a game and that game was the only thing that commanded my attention. It saved me from doing some stupid stuff and the pain I was feeling.
You have to get lost in something else. Real or imagined.
The only other way that has worked for me was to do something crazy in which ensured that person would never love me. Instantly my feelings went away.
