I don't know if this is even a thing but like after every dude that I actually liked and it ended, even when friendships ended, I always go and get a new haircut hahaha

And even tho I don't have any breakup thing right now, I still went and dyed my hair dark blonde balayage style cause this weekend my pact with myself (to not talk with anyone for a year) ends and it's time for a new start lol

Good for you gurrl! I think balayagelooks great when done right. (As in it looks natural and effortless). I’ve personally never really done the “break-up makeover” thing, I now LOTTS of girls who have. I’ve only had two serious relationships end, one b/c he cheated on me, and the other b/c we went to different schools on opposite sides of the country #NoLongDistance. But I definitely did try to look my absolute best after I broke up with Mike (the guy who cheated on me)! We gotta make them see what they lost!

Hey Melanie, I feel much MUCH better! I’m still not back to my usual self, and i am still very low on energy, but I am SO much better! I honestly thought I might die! It wasn’t JUST the covid (which turned into long covid) but because we were required to get ALL the covid vaccines before the start of each semester, while I had the worst case of covid my mom has ever seen in someone my age, I also developed myocarditis! I had NO energy, I could barely make the ten step walk to my bathroom or back to bed, I needed help to get in bed, (where i was for 4 WEEKS! I was finding it harder to breathe or catch my breath, and my heard was beating so fast. it was terrible, and my mom had me 911’d to the Hospital! I refused to go to the hospital several times, and she reluctantly allowed me to stay in my house w/ supervision. But after over 3 weeks in bed, getting progressively worse she had enough and insisted I go, or she would Baker Act me! So I capitulated, and thank god I did. They said I had a day tops and w/o medical treatment I would have died! So I definitely learned to listen to my mom the doctor about medical issues, to stop being so stubborn and self reliant when I obviously need help! Thank you so much for asking, I hope Doug filled you in, although at the 3wk mark I stopped going online as I just couldn’t reach down to get my iPad or plug it in! (Which should have been my sign that I needed to go to the hospital) oh well live an learn.

I honestly have no Idea why I resisted for so long, it was SO stupid! And I’m not the type who discounts anything my mom says JUST because she is my mom. I really respect my mom and her incredible wealth of medical knowledge. But I have always been stubborn, and wanted to do things on my own. Hell I bought my own house without even telling my parents until the closing, I’ve always been like that. But I will NEVER not listen to my mom again when it comes to medical things. Mel I came so close to loosing my life, I have a new appreciation for life. I remember coming home and thinking how everything looked SO GREEN, I became aware that life was everywhere, and I very nearly lost it all! I guess it proves that having high intelligence does not preclude one from being monumentally stupid!
And yes, Doug is just the greatest guy ever!
