What does it mean when people don't tell you stuff until after it happens?

For instance that someone is cheating on you and they don't tell you until after you are broken up with someone. That is when people decide to tell you stuff until after the mess has been over.

@Akam93 people are terrible especially when it has something to do with you. People might as well not tell you at all if they can't tell you when it was happening because you would get upset either way.

Well if it is something that bad the person who is cheating needs to be exposed because it will be drama either way if you wait to tell them then or later.
