I got him and he wanted to talk on the phone and I said I don’t feel well I really just want to make myself some soup. I just want some time alone right now. He HUNG up on me and ignored me for an entire week now he comes back around saying how he puts too much effort in and I’m not doing anything. I know guys can feel neglected too but I think this is too much

Is he some kind of jackass or something or a special kind of stupid? You just had surgery and need time to rest relax and heal. If anything he should be waying on you hand and foot or at the very least checking up on you to make sure you're recovering ok. Get rid of him and find somebody who's more mature and grown up
