We dont have children together. Why would I stay in touch wth an ex?
This is what makes me wondering too.. I don't understand why my ex keeping in touch with me. But he seems like making sure that I don't forget him? And his text always showed up from time to time... he has a girlfriend, and so me.
Some people have this idea that you can truly be just friends after you end a romantic or sexual relationship but hat rarely works long term. Usually, one person is holding on, hoping for a chance to reunite. And f you are now dating someone else, staying in touch with an ex should cause them to question whether you are emotionally available. Unless you have children together, no contact works best to help you move forward.
I'm still good friends with 2 of my exes. When things just don't workout there's no need to end in bad terms. But I don't contact them every day, I don't contact anyone every day 🤣
