Not exactly remarriage, but after my parents divorced, my father did occasionally hook up with my mother, even though he had remarried.

I’ve met one couple who did that. I have heard similar stories third hand at least twice beyond that. It’s strange, and in my opinion a little sad and more than a little stoopid.
