I have never dated a married person.

I have dated a married person but they did not leave their spouse for me.

If anyone doesn't know me and is wondering. . . I have never pursued a married woman. In 1980, I had a married woman ask me to take her to my bed. It would have been great fun, but. . . I knew both her and her husband and they were both good, nice people. In fact, I was quite surprised at her proposition. I told her to go home and work on her marriage.

I haven't stayed in touch with either of them but, as of 2024, I know that they are still married.

No. If I think a guy is interested in me who shouldn't be (i. e. married to someone else), I become cold as ice and keep our interactions to the bare minimum. If he were to push, I will go to HR with a complaint and I'll tell him so. That's crossing a line.

If he's willing to divorce her for me, he'll be willing to divorce me for someone else. It's that simple. There's always someone more interesting, more attractive, more "understanding", etc. I don't believe in soul mates, so I will never wonder if I missed out on "the One" because I think that's nonsense.

I would never act in a graceless & tactless way towards another woman. Even if she is completely unknown to me, even if the fault wouldn't be mine but her husband's. Moreover a person who would be so inclined to cheat on their wife, what the fuck would they ever have in common with me?

She was dating someone when we met in college. And we clicked like no ones business. I resisted for awhile but then she wouldn’t take no for an answer. And I did like her so I made a judgement call. So anyway we had sex, she was my first, I was her first. Then she broke it off with her boyfriend and we dated for 9 months.

I'd never date a married person. Even if they said they were getting divorced and then divorced I wouldn't date them as I don't think they should jump from one relationship straight into another.

I recently had a guy from ten years ago telling me he wanted to break up and be with me. Told him the same thing. If he is unhappy he should break up. But not get into another relationship for a while.

I have never been involved with a married person. That just feels super wrong and unfair. If they are unhappy, they need to leave and officially be divorced before they get back out into the dating world.

I have, however, had a married man take great interest in me and flirt with me all the time. This was very uncomfortable for me as I'm not into that. I did my best to ignore him and did not participate in any of the flirting.

Not exactly. I've had a woman try to date me while she was still legally married. The keyword being "TRY". She was going through the divorce but was not yet divorced and I told her I consider her married until she was. She didn't want to wait so she dated another guy who didn't have this standard. i've done it. I was too flattered to care about her husband. would I ever do it again? no. I ended up breaking up with her 3 months in because she was too clingy, possessive, and needy. she wanted to finish 3x a day and that was a lot of work

Accidentally, yes, and for a very brief time. He managed to keep it secret for a couple of months, but the minute I found out he was married, I put an immediate stop to it. I always wished I could apologize to his wife, but felt it would just make things harder for her if I contacted her. I've been off the dating market for 10 years now and am so happy to not deal with that stuff any more.
