Who has been through divorce? Either their parents or grandparents or with their own spouse?

I am going through my parents getting separated so I wanted to see what others were going through. If anyone wants/needs prayers or kind encouragement just let me know! 🙂

Very considerate of you to offer to pray for others, and very healthy way to direct your energy.

seen it around me but not me or parents. the prior generation stayed married, in tough times as well... they thought differently... got married... and that was it! talk to 70+yr olds and you'll hear different thinking.

both my older siblings divorced, one is very happily remarried. other never did. She divorced prior w/ kids whom had a rough time for a while, but they adjusted and are happy teens now, doing fantastic in school and enjoying life. It can work out well... either way. So that's a prayer... to see a better day!

very sorry for your situation though, it's a terrible spot for young person to be in. I've seen "strained relationships" including in Christian. It's just change, and some people are not well equiped to handle it. I hope you all work through this for the best. I suspect you just want to be happy and for them to be happy and have peace.

I was two when my parents got divorced, I remember it was raining that day and my sister and I waited under her clear plastic umbrella while my uncle's moved us out of the house and into an apartment.

I was more upset at loosing the dog lol. But I didn't really understand.

Parents divorced when I was... 2. I got divorced 2 years after I married my first wife (very sad circumstances). Been married 4 years now to my second wife and loving every bit of it.

They were both miserable until he died, but at least my grandmother was able to find someone that she is happy with now.
