If you been intimate with someone while for me it’s hard to look at you as just a friend especially if you still have feelings towards them. 😡

The "just be friends" line was always meant to "smooth" over any hard feelings. Yet never in the history of mankind has it ever worked for anyone because break-ups are hard.

You are not just ending a relationship, you are putting to away the memories of the past and ending one of many possible futures. A friendship is always possible, but it should not be forced in the first month of mourning the death of the "us".

The "us" being the entity or world that is made when two are in an intimate relationship. The inside jokes, practices, shared beliefs and attitudes creates a micro-culture that itself seems to be alive but only when the two are togeather.

It bothers me soooo much. I can only be their friend if i wasn't THAT into them or if our interest in eachother lasted less than a month. But everyone who surpassed that who i dated longer will get cut off when we’re done. And it hurts because I still want to be their friend deep down, but i’d look at them with flames in my eyes everytime and want to attack them for breaking my heart. So they’re safer being cut off
