Look , long term they certainly can there is no doubt about it.

I have plenty of ex's , Im okey with most , some I just wouldn't know where they are , life is not so absolute , people come in and out of your life all the time , its important not to carry bad karma with you , so its important to at least be able to have a conversation.

It's sometimes possible, but that's definitely the exception to the rule and not something that should ever be assumed or counted on. It's certainly easier if there were never any deep feelings by either party than if one or both were really emotionally involved.

It’s possible but really depends on the breakup, why it happened, they are an EX for a reason. Also will not be close friends more of a person you can chat to. There will be rare exceptions where both are closer but just not dating.

After our break up it took 6 month break. Than we started to become friends. But I know why she broke up and I could understand it. Perhaps this is not always the case
