I’m a single woman and not in the stage of having kids until marriage. However, lately I’ve been getting so emotional when I watch videos of a mother showing love to her baby especially when the baby is her mini me. I see the videos on my social media feed and it’s a norm to see them here and there. Lately, whenever I’m at work I just smile in amazement and it brings joy to my heart. I’m not upset nor down but it’s so beautiful to see.
I just can’t understand why I keep crying when I see the bonding? How do I identify what’s going on?

What Girls Said
You may not be mentally ready but your body is definitely. Your body sends you messages through your hormones that you are in the prime time to have children and that does impact on your emotional state.
You will find yourself be more and more susceptible to that kind of scenes and while you may fight them mentally, you cannot cheat your body.
Your best option is just to try to avoid looking at those kind of scenes if you can. Also, refrain from watching romantic comedies because you will automatically allow your feelings to reappear.
It is in the nature of (most) women that are in the age to reproduce and you are apparently no exception.
Thank you for this. So much. I’ll definitely be taking this into consideration
Good luck with your emotions.
