What's it feel to be a new mother and be extra sensitive to the cries of the young?

Here's an example of... what I believe is... a mother responding to the cry of a baby rabbit when it's attacked by a hawk. It was a big mistake for this hawk. #winoneforthevegetarians!Are you extra sensitive to sounds of distress when you have a baby and what's it feel like? do you feel super human?
