My ex-boyfriend is acting strange. Guys explain this to me please.

One min he tells me how he feels how he cares and love me.The next min he is throwing stuff in my face and saying things like we won't ever be together again.When he is the one that texts me and contacts me.And he has a new girlfriend just before the girlfriend he was engaged after we broke up this happened all in the same yr.What is his problem?

I am in the same situation, or was. He would break up with me, get back together, then break up with me again. He loves me, he doesn't love me. He is sabotaging his relationship with you by thinking of ways why not to be with you because perhaps you are good for him.

Perhaps he has some kind of emotional issues, past relationship issues, parential issues, etc. I was researching this online today. You are experiencing emotional abuse. It may not seem like it, but believe me it is, and due to what brkadv was possibly suggesting of a borderline personality disorder. He doesn't seem to want to make up his mind. Same with my ex. He has told me every past relationship he has jumped into the next a week later because he is afraid of being alone.

Check into borderline personality disorder, and check into emotional abuse. I'm not saying you are those extreme cases or whatnot, but it has left you wondering why he does this, why does he love you one min then tell you that you won't be together. You don't need that instability, you deserve nothing but the best. Someone who knows what he wants. I had to learn the hard way, fell for the guy, and still wound up not being loved when he does love me. It sucks, but ultimately I deserve someone who can tell me I love you, and then tell me it again. You deserve the same.

Yes I agree it is crazy.Its like he wants me to hang around while he dates others but has every reason as to why we aren't together.And all the others he is no longer with so now he is with someone else.Its time to cut the cord.

This sounds a lot like someone with a personality disorder or something more serious.

From what you say he:

-Changes his mind over and over within a short period, going from one emotional extreme to the other

-Throws things at you

-Has very unstable relationships and goes very deeply into them and out of them sometimes very quickly

We actually just posted an article responding to someone who was just left by an ex with Borderline Personality Disorder. I don't know if your guy has that or something else or if he is just immature. But you might find the article interesting since it hits on some of these ideas.

Yea one min he's cool and next min he's talking about stuff from the past.When I've mentioned to let that stuff go and just move forward but at the same time.I couldn't see y hold a conversation like that if you have truly moved on and in another relationship
