If by "trying to kill you" you mean an actual death threats then get help from a lawyer.
If however it's just him not supporting you economically, then he's honestly under no obligation to do so once the relationship is over.
Do contact a lawyer to help you out with the details, as you might be entitled to a part of the divorce settlement, something that might help you out with getting started till you can manage on your own.
Get a restraining order and then a divorce. Leave immediately and don’t tell them where you are. Threatening to kill you is VERY serious and shouldn’t be taken lightly.
Id get rid of that person.
