It depends a lot on their spending habits.
Do they spending it as fast as it comes in?
If that is the case they would spend everything they get plus what you give them.
Am I in a financial position that I am able to help them, or am I strapped for cash.
When I was married the second time, I did not agree with her spending habits, so to prevent any issues over money each month we put a set amount into our household account, that covers the house payment, food, taxes, utilities etc.
We both were working, but we had a big disparity in our incomes.
This has worked out well, we never argue about money.
I have helped her out a few times, and pay for a lot of other stuff.
It works out well.

No not if it's her bills, that means ownership and responsibility. A wife shouldn't really have her own, that should have been taken care of before marriage. But if she goes and buy something on credit without asking and can't pay she should return it.

Everyone should own up to their own responsibilities, if she needs help then sure if she sincerely asks for it and pays it back somehow, definitely. But no guy should ever have to help with her bills. Same goes the other way around!
