Could my ex be falling for me, again?

My ex and broke up about a year ago. We have recently started to reconnect… as friends. We have been spending some time together here and there. He recently asked if I wanted to join him on a day trip in a couple of days. The drive is 4 hours there & 4 hours back. We wouldn’t be doing anything fun, he just has to do a business stop, but asked if I’d join him. He has been rather sweet to me, and we text every day but nothing like when he was pursuing me. When we do hang, he does joke about other women and stuff. I do miss him, and our relationship. It wouldn’t be a bad thing if we got back together. We just had a hard time during our relationship because of our busy schedules and our locations. We live in the same city, now and I graduated college. Any advice would be great! Thanks!
