I have notice some girls will leave their ex partner for someone else once things get hard then only want that person back after all there new relationship fail. Why is that? I have one friend that cheated on her boyfriend for a guy she thought was perfect a year later he become toxic and she's been begging for her ex back every single time a new relationship of her fails. She says she loves him regrets leaving him during his depression but he wants nothing to do with her besides a friendship.

Because lots of people, men and women, assume that the grass is greener on the other side. Which is usually never true. It’s greener where you water it. Maybe because of the guy’s depression, she felt like she was being brought down with him or didn’t know how to help him, so her eyes started to wander. When somebody doesn’t want to be in a relationship with a person anymore, and someone else catches their eye, it’s easy to think that this new person is perfect, but that’s only because you just met them and really don’t know them well enough to make that judgement yet. So she got to know him, and after a year of maybe being treated very poorly, she started to realize how wrong it was for her to treat her ex the way she did. That doesn’t mean she deserves to be forgiven or to be accepted back, but this is most likely what happened.

Now that I re read what you said , if she’s going back to him after every new relationship fails, then it could be because she is getting into these new relationships BECAUSE he won’t take her back and she’s trying to get over him but fails every time, or because she’s very insecure and cannot be alone and wants him to fall back on to avoid feeling lonely.
THEY BEEN broke up for almost 2 n half years now they did try friends with benefits but he couldn't get up do to tj3 pills he on but he has made it clear to her that he could never date her because of what she did. They dated for about 8 years and were engaged to be mad before his dad died
