once someone ghosts, i'd say it's over for good. you don't wanna hurt more thinking he will contact again, because ghosting is a pretty rude thing to do. if he ever does contact you again, i wouldn't respond. if he can't communicate that he's not interested any more, and ghosting is his only coping mechanism, then it's best to find someone better.
