Tonight was the longest time we've talked in a long time and he bought a couple's game for us to play when we meet up.

Out of all the games he could have gotten he chose that one. I thought that was odd when we aren't together anymore.

I feel like he's treating me like a girlfriend without realizing it.

I don't want to read too much into it but it's hard not to when he could have picked any game to play.

I really don't understand why you are so shocked by his behavior buying a couples game. Are you going to let a simple type of game he chose be the deciding factor to draw the conclusion that he might still love you?

My gosh - the two of you are having sex together. Wouldn't that be more of a clue than a stupid game?

This is so NOT normal behavior for two people who behave the way the two of you do. I mean, my gosh, can't he use his words to tell you that he loves you? Now THAT would be normal.

Sounds like you are lucky and haven't been listening to her talk about this relationship all the time for the past several months have you? So you don't know the whole story do you?
I've tried my very best to help her by giving her my best advice and she always just keeps on doing what she wants anyway.

So I am friends with a few of my ex's and the truth is it is hard to not fall in to old patterns and habbits with them accidently. I don't wish to be with any of them but there are times when I am with them where I will act in a way that I would have in a relationship because that is my genuine at truth self. The reason I grabbed her hand the first time walking down the street (because it felt right) is still what my natural reaction is when walking down the street with her now. The good things were still good and a part of me even if the bad stuff made a relationship bad over all. If I like playing couples games I could still enjoy that enough for it to feel natural to do and to fall into the pattern without the intention or even relivilation that I am doing it. Last time I was at my ex's I was playing with her cat which she had while we were together and while I was doing it I flopped over and layed my head in her lap not even thinking like i used to do all the time and it startled her out of her seat. You need to do what we did after that happened and talk about it with the other person to find out the motive not just the action.

1) If it was a couples themed game it would signal towards him having feelings for you
2) If you wanted it to be rekindled then ofc you would be leaning towards that answer he wants to rekindle

My advice, maybe play that board game next time and in the middle ask him if he wants to rekindle the relationship. That way you know and he won’t feel pressured since it is a “couple game”.
