Why would my ex text me this?

I got into a nasty fight with my ex last night. We have been broken up dates before but were still communicating. We were fighting, name calling, and blaming each other last night and we told each not to contact each other anymore. This morning he texted me that there is no bad blood between us, wished me good luck and farewell. We already ended it for good last night during the fight, why text this?

I still have resentment towards him and don't feel the same.
