My last ex happens to also be my first ex, so it was quite hard and took me a year to finally let go.

My brother even told me “If it’s going to hurt you this much, then don’t be in a relationship at all, because it’s inevitable to get hurt.”

I am very sensitive and I always imagined he was my life partner.

Past 1.3 year was an emotional rollercoaster for me. I am finally getting at a better place emotionally and my heart has healed.
I am over my past and feel very good and content being on my own.

I'm only ever interested in those that are interested in me. So once I break up with them, I'm very much over them. I've never been broken up with but I feel like I wouldn't care since if they didn't want to be with me, why would I want to be with them?

Good for you man. I didn't even fully comprehend how miserable I was until I felt this overwhelming sense or happiness the second I dumped that psychopath. Wish I did it much sooner.
