Ex leaves me on read after sending me a message?

So my ex and I broke up and he left me on read and after a while I started talking to him and asked him to think of getting back together and he kept leaving me on read after a few messages and eventually I said I've had enough and I won't force him anymore I'm going to go and he left me on read , today he sends a message and we start talking fine just for him to leave me on read yet again, why would he do that?

Ugh what a jerk! That would annoy me so much. Seems like he just wants to mess with your head a little bit. A few possibilities:

- He misses the attention from you but isn't actually ready to get back together. Leaving you on read keeps you hooked on what he might say next.

- He's scared of fully committing again so leaving you hanging lets him bail easily when it gets real.

- He's still got some feelings but is too stubborn/immature to actually communicate properly. Guys can be dumb like that 🙄

I'd say don't even bother responding if he does it again. He's just playing games. Give him a taste of his own medicine - don't give him the satisfaction of leaving YOU on read!

You can do better than that anyway. If he really wanted you, he'd make the effort. Time to move on sis and find someone who appreciates you! Don't waste mental energy on games. His loss, your gain!
