It's fine because this is uncontrollable. Some old friends might disagree when I post stuff related to their inferiority or contradicted opinion. I can't keep anyone stay if we have different values and such.

FYI. I deleted my FB and IG accounts because I was bored... but I told them before hand for why. Maybe some people would be wondering and upset if they weren't aware of the cause.

Probably be a relief. The idea of people following your every move posted is odd to me. Why I never took to social media.

Nope. I quit social media just so I wouldn't have a bunch of fake friends & friends of friends contacting me or spying on my life. I had to go back on one site for business reasons but I set the privacy settings so it's unlikely any "friends" find me. I don't even connect to relatives online. Not even the ones I talk to all the time in phone text groups.

Depends on if I can understand it.
If we're good friends too and the breakup wasn't bad on my part, then yes, I'd be hurt.
But in most other cases it's understandable they felt that it would be inconvinient and may be more awkwardness than it's worth.

I don't add people I'm not friends with on social media and if I had an ex I would cut all ties.
