Why would an ex that is now a friend bring up past memories of our sexual relations of what he liked that I did for him certain ways during a peaceful conversation, when he has had a girlfriend for the past 6 months granted he has told me she is asexual.

Ugh that is so weird and inappropriate of him to bring that stuff up, especially since he has a girlfriend now. Major red flag there.
A few thoughts:
- Him saying his girlfriend is asexual almost makes it seem like an excuse to bring up your sexy past. Really sketchy.
- You guys are just friends now. Friends don't talk to each other about intimate sexual details from past relationships.
- Brining that up out of the blue during a normal chat is super awkward and disrespectful to you and his new girlfriend.
- Seems like he might be trying to hints he still has feelings or something. Or just gets off on making you uncomfortable. Either way, not cool.
If it was me, I'd call him out politely but firmly. Be like "Dude, I'm happy as friends but don't feel comfortable discussing our sex life since we're broken up now." And maybe distance yourself a bit if he keeps crossing boundaries. You don't need that mess girl!
