Your ex from two years ago randomly unblocked you and missed call you.

My friend took my phone and did that to my ex today. She said she was helping me get back with him because she thinks he’s right for me. 🙂

I’m stubborn as hell and my love life is basically non-existent at the moment. So I’m not sure how to feel.

I'm not sure what exactly to advise you coz neither I know your friend and not your ex.
Something that should form a basis of your judgement should be introspecting a little as to what happened in the past that led to the break up.
If now you're able to think that it was something immature and something that could have been fixed without harming your self respect then it's worth it. You should give it a go.
If not, then it's not wise to step into something again which have already hurt you in the past.
A reality of life is people hardly change.

the first thing is... my friends don't try to interfere in my private life... they often share their opinions but that's all, they treat me as I am, the grown-up, independent person, who can make own decisions and bear the consequences...

the second thing is I don't break up on the whim... if we are not together... there is nothing to return to... so even if my ex contacted me (that happens from time to time), we could have a nice conversation and nothing more... and we both know it

Personally, I’ve had limited exes so I’d say it depends on the guy in question. Only one or two guys from my past would be interesting to chat with today — but neither of them were considered “exes” since we never formally dated. Actual exes are exes for a reason. Don’t stir that cauldron.

I think I know where you’re coming from.

I personally have an ex that she calls me every once in a while and she shows signs of wanting to get back together by asking me questions to see what’s new and to see if I’m up for meeting up to grab some lunch.

But given what happened I never follow through. All I do is answer her calls and talk on the phone. Nothing more.

Yes exactly! I am always going to have feelings for him and I told my friend he’s my biggest love.

But I’m too scared to go back there because I don’t want to get hurt again. And it’s because I care for him so much it will hurt so much.

I’ll never hate him and I want to see him happy always. Even if it’s with someone else.

Yep. It’s an odd feeling forsure. Because you’re legit conflicted. A part of you wants to be back together with the person but immediately you’re reminded of what happened and you then refuse to entertain the idea of getting back together. It happens.

If it makes you feel any better, just do what I do. Never reach out to the ex, but talk to them when they talk to you. And agree to meet up with em even though you aren’t 😂

This will also definitely work for you cause the genders are flipped in your case.

It’s a matter of time until my ex moves on after she catches on that I’m just bullshitting her.

I dont dislike her I wish for nothing but the best for her, from a distance, she wasn't in love with me I realized and so I broke up with her, her morals were more of a persona and not her as a person, don't get me wrong she's a really good family person but Im just gonna label it as we weren't good together i guess, plus she moved on pretty fast into another relationship everyone knows what that means, I'm still happily single tho so no regrets here, my only regret is wasting precious time on that relationship but I wish her the best genuinely.
