She's not making it up. They had unprotected sex and she's late. The only reason she would possibly withhold the info is because she doesn't want to mess up his life or think that she's trapping him.

No that wasn't her plan. They were having unprotected sex many times. It's just they were being careless even though they used plan b every time. But if she would have known the break up would have happened she would have never done unprotected sex.
