What part of breaking up is the worst?

I guess remembering all the good memories you had with that person, waking up and realizing you can no longer have that person next to you and going on in life alone.
Obviously it's better to breakup with someone that's toxic to you, but humans are social creatures. Loneliness can drive us mad.
Ghosting... leaving questions and the other person hanging without answers or explanation
The dropoff in communication and sudden coldness. The gaslighting that your normal amount of contact frequency is suddeny smothering. The obvious monkey branching behind your back. Feeling used and duped.
The worst part is when it ended badly and you never speak to them again, or if you still love them but they threw you away.. it's the emptiness..

The bit when you decide you need to break up, then know you have to talk to the other person.
There is no worst if it had to happen. You simply pick up the pieces and move on. Sometimes a break-up is a good thing.
Back to square one. Each time you do it you want to do it less the next time. It's like building a sandcastle that some routinely kicks over. The only thing that keeps you going is the insane belief that this time it's going to be forever.
the whole thing is a dumpster fire. Neil Sedaka is right, Breaking up is hard to do.
None of it. If there is a breakup, one or both were not committed. Why would anyone want to maintain such a relationship?
When they don’t leave
Losing a rhythm in your life.
The very beginning.
