What is your worst break up story?

She ignored me for two weeks, though it at least appeared as though all was going well. During that time, I'd text her or send her Facebook messages maybe once a day at most; I think I even tried calling her once. She never replied, though she kept adding friends and apps on Facebook, posting status updates, and commenting on posts.

During this time as well, her adoptive father had died. I knew he was older and had cancer, but I didn't know it was that bad. If she'd told me what was happening, I'd have been perfectly fine to put things on hold; I really want to stress that. She posted an open invitation to his funeral on Facebook. I went (perhaps stupidly), rationalizing that I was showing my support.

Good grief, this is so embarrassing 🙄...

We talked and she told me everything was fine and that we could pick things back up shortly. It didn't help that Valentine’s Day that year was just about a week later, so I didn't know if it would be right to get her anything, which I ultimately did; a flower and a bracelet.

A week after Valentine’s Day, she had a friend text me and tell me to leave her alone. Worse, she got a mutual friend of ours to do so as well. I then asked her point blank and she then sent me a ton of messages telling me how she hated me, that she thought I was annoying and clingy (she also hinted that it was because I "couldn't" leave her alone while her father was dying; see my note above), and "you are nothing I want in a man and you never will be."

So yeah, that was that. I know, I know, it was all so juvenile. She had issues, and quite frankly, so did I. I was also obviously in a very different place in my life, but it was for the best. She was the one who was pregnant and engaged six months after all this and divorced five years later.

I broke up with an ex about six years ago and she didn't take it well. She tried to talk me out of it but my mind was made up. Then she lied and told me she was pregnant with my child. When I explained why that was impossible, she threatened that she would accuse me of rape, which she did. That was scary for a couple of days. She was crazy. I'm sure she still is. She's married now and they have a baby. I really feel sorry for her husband.

Well i got her out of a dark place, gave her my everything and lost myself in the process. I wanted the best for her make her life less miserable than yesterday but in return i had to retain the misery and disappointment myself. I was always hoping things will change for good, the dark episode will finally end but never thought it would end up with us breaking up. She was my everything and i was hers which was honestly dumb but we were two dumb broken kids trynna find an escape bonded over trauma and ended up with one even bigger. I guess there are somethings we just can't help.

She took my child n moved n didn't tell me until onevday I came she told me say goodbye to my daughter their stuff was moved out of their house, she told me she was visiting family but the whole time was moving.

All of my break up stories have been pretty much the same. They all claim to love me and then eventually cheat on me and blame me for them cheating 🤷🏻‍♂️ I haven't had a relationship in 9 years because I'm done dating cheaters.
