It’s different for everybody. Time usually dissipates the heart break though.

One thing about feeling heartbreak when you are young is that you feel emotions for vividly. This is true for both men and women. But break ups and/or heart break actually negative impacts men more. Reason being is we usually hold it in more.

My advice is to discreetly ventilate ti someone you fully trust. Ventilate your anger productively with exercise. I find that kickboxing and jiu Jitsu really helped me. Nothing like hitting someone in a controlled environment.

Cope by getting over it. If they left you, then they didn't see your value. Why would anyone ever want to stay with someone that doesn't value them? And if you left them, then it was your choice to leave so get over that.

I really see it as very easy. All my past partners broke up with me. I got over it pretty much the next day. They aren't your dream partner if they leave you. A dream partner values you and wants to stay with you through thick and thin.

Just know emotions are not permanent, and that grief changes over time. Time unfortunately slow does do the trick.

Head on. Acknowledged it. Went to the gym. Cried alone, meditated in quiet places, spent nights thinking about what I would say if we ran into eachother or anyone brought her up. I accepted what was and wasn't my fault, forgave her, forgave myself.

And it helps to remember the next time is almost always better. As long as you learn from your mistakes and hold no grudges.

I think everyone has. What'd I do? I learned from it. We're going to mess up and make bad choices in life. What's important is learning from those bad choices and not repeating those mistakes.
